Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking a Senior Advisor Learning Design to lead the development of learning resources and assessment materials for trainers and assessors across the agency. The role ensures content is compliant, accessible, and safe, aligning with regulatory standards.

Successful candidates will map units of competency to learning content, produce manuals and mapping documents with Word, and create interactive eLearning using Articulate Storyline and Rise for practical workplace

Qualifications

• Experience developing clear, accessible learning and assessment resources within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Ability to interpret units of competency and map requirements to learning content and assessment tasks.
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills to produce manuals, workbooks and mapping documents.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools to create interactive learning for workplace use.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide services for trainers and assessors to deliver quality learning and assessment activities.
• Develop products to a compliant standard ensuring staff are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to confirm requirements and incorporate feedback.
