Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced instructional design professional to join on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on designing learning solutions for Community Services, collaborating with internal and external experts to build capability across the business.

The position is not a traditional training role; you will design content, develop engaging programs, and ensure outcomes are achieved on time and within scope while supporting LMS administration and compliance requirements.

• Significant instructional design experience across all learning modalities.
• Commercially minded, designing learning solutions aligned to business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments and manage timelines.
• Strong project and stakeholder management with influence.
• Analytical and data-driven, identifying capability gaps and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning programs across multiple modalities.
• Partner with SMEs and leaders to translate complex information into practical learning solutions.
• Research and source external learning programs and providers to meet needs.
• Manage multiple learning projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
• Monitor learning effectiveness, completion rates, and feedback to drive improvements.
• Support LMS administration, ensuring compliance and mandatory training.
• Facilitate training programs for diverse audiences across Australia.
