Job summary

Pointer Strategy is seeking a Senior Manager for Embedded Partnerships to lead the end-to-end embedding of payment and rewards capabilities into partner platforms in Melbourne or Sydney. This role will shape the commercial model, negotiate with banks, fintechs and SaaS platforms, and drive revenue through embedded partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing embedded/API-led deals in payments/fintech.
• Strong negotiation and deal shaping experience.
• Experience with MEDDPICC or similar sales framework.
• Ability to define go-to-market and commercial models.
• Leadership experience at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Own the embedded partner pipeline end to end: source, qualify, negotiate, close.
• Run discovery with partner product and engineering teams, and scope the integration path.
• Build and defend the commercial model on every deal: rate cards, revenue share, points economics, break-even, payback.
• Drive term sheets, MOUs and commercial schedules through legal, risk and compliance on both sides.
• Feed partner demand back into product and engineering - help decide what gets built next.
• Take signed partners live: launch plan, enablement, go-to-market, then hand over cleanly.
• Represent the business with executive sponsors and treasury teams at banks, lenders and platform businesses.
