Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a passionate Senior Educator for the Perth region in WA. You will contribute to safe, inclusive learning experiences and lead engaging activities with children, families and staff.

Requirements include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a current Working with Children Check and First Aid. Familiarity with EYLF and NQS is essential to deliver high-quality education across our centres.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education required.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Ability to lead a classroom and engage with educators, families and children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education program and practice.
• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

Roles: Early Childhood Senior Educator

Location: Perth region, WA - All centres are located within the Perth and surrounds region in WA

Salary Range: Senior Educators - r anging from $41.74 to 43.00 per hour + Superannuation (Dependant on qualifications and experience)

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Your Impact!

As a Senior Educator, you will be a team player, collaborating with your peers within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.

• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

You'll need:

• Senior Educator - Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Having passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
