Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in the Southern region, NSW, is seeking a Senior Educator to lead a classroom and contribute to the education program across our NSW Southern region centres.

You will be part of a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to giving children the best start in life, with above-award wages and a range of benefits. This full-time permanent role offers flexibility and a supportive culture designed to grow your career in early learning.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.

• Comply with NQS and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

Role: Early Childhood Senior Educators
Location:Southern region, NSW – All centres are located within the NSW Southern region
Salary Range: Senior Educators – ranging from $41.74 to $47.40 per hour + Superannuation (Dependant on qualifications and experience)
Employment Type:Full-time Permanent

Your Impact!

As a Senior Educator,you will be a team player, collaborating with your peers within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

You’ll need:

• Senior Educator – Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
