Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Educator to lead learning experiences across our centres in the Adelaide region. You will collaborate with educators, families and the Education Leader to deliver high-quality programs that meet the Early Years Learning Framework.

You will model best practice, maintain safe learning environments and contribute to centre and business plans while supporting a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education required.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Experience leading a classroom and engaging with families and educators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children.
• Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education.
• Comply with NQS and Goodstart policies and procedures.

Location: Adelaide region, SA – All centres are located within the Adelaide and surrounds region in SA Salary Range : Senior Educators - r anging from $41.74 to 43.00 per hour + Superannuation (Dependant on qualifications and experience) Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Your Impact!

As aSenior Educator,you will be a team player, collaborating with your peers within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

You’ll need:

• Senior Educator - Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Having passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
