Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in NSW’s Western Division is seeking a Senior Educator to join our not-for-profit network. You’ll contribute to high-quality early learning programs, lead with passion, and support inclusivity and child safety.

The role offers full-time permanent employment, above award wages, and a range of benefits including professional development, parental leave and discounts. You’ll work with a supportive team to deliver the Goodstart Practice Guide and meet NQS standards.

Qualifications

• Senior Educator – Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

Role: Early Childhood Senior Educators
Location:Western Division region, NSW – All centres are located within the Western Division region
Salary Range: Senior Educators – ranging from $41.74 to $47.40 per hour + Superannuation (Dependant on qualifications and experience)
Employment Type:Full-time Permanent
