Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Change Manager to join a large Local Government Authority and drive digital and technology transformation. You will lead the people side of change across technology, processes and new ways of working, ensuring teams are engaged, prepared and supported throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in change management or a comparable role.
• Knowledge of established change management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Experience delivering change across complex projects and technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear communications for different audiences.
• Experience across change assessment, planning, preparation and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Postgraduate Change Management qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering practical change management strategies and plans.
• Conducting change impact assessments and organisational readiness activities.
• Leading stakeholder engagement across business and technology groups.
• Developing clear, audience-appropriate communications for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identifying training requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training.
• Assessing user readiness and proactively managing resistance to change.
• Working closely with project teams to embed new technologies, processes and ways of working.
• Monitoring adoption, engagement and business readiness to help sustain change outcomes.
