Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with a large Local Government Authority to appoint a Change Manager for Digital & Technology Transformation. You will lead the people side of change across technology, processes and new ways of working, ensuring teams are engaged and prepared throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of change management experience in large organisations.
• Knowledge of established change management principles and methodologies.
• Experience delivering change across complex projects and technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Postgraduate Change Management qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering practical change management strategies and plans.
• Conducting change impact assessments and organisational readiness activities.
• Leading stakeholder engagement across business and technology groups.
• Developing clear, audience-appropriate communications for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identifying training requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training.
• Assessing user readiness and proactively managing resistance to change.
• Working closely with project teams to embed new technologies, processes and ways of working.
• Monitoring adoption, engagement and business readiness to help sustain change outcomes.
