Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager for a well-regarded NSW commercial construction business. Based in Sydney, you will influence market positioning and the future project pipeline, reporting to senior leadership and shaping growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within NSW commercial construction, property or architectural sector.
• Established network of industry relationships and ability to develop new opportunities.
• Sound understanding of construction procurement, tendering and project delivery processes.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the confidence to engage with senior executives and key decision-makers.
• Proactive, relationship-driven approach with a genuine passion for business growth.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sustainable growth and expand market presence.
• Identify and secure new project opportunities across commercial, government, health, education and other key sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, government agencies, architects, consultants, project managers and key decision-makers.
• Identify upcoming projects and position the business early in the procurement process.
• Work closely with estimating, preconstruction and delivery teams to develop competitive bid and tender strategies.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Drive opportunities through the full business development lifecycle, from initial engagement through to successful project award.
• Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and key client meetings.
