Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our BI function and drive smarter decision-making across a national organisation. This 12-month contract offers leadership, commercial insight, and hands-on technical execution to deliver reporting, analytics, and data solutions that influence executive decision-making.

You will oversee a team of 5, develop enterprise Power BI dashboards, ensure data quality, and partner with Finance, Operations and Executive

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in BI leadership roles.
• Strong Power BI development experience, including DAX and dashboard design.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Proven people leadership experience, including developing high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive influence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BI function across atWork Australia and manage 5 direct reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance and a single source of truth.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis activities.
• Prioritise BI initiatives and manage competing business requirements.
• Provide advanced analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and develop BI team members and foster a customer-focused culture.
• Support ongoing innovation, process improvement and data maturity across the business.
