Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our BI function and drive smarter decision-making across a national organisation. The 12-month contract role is based in any atWork Australia location and will deliver high-impact reporting, analytics and data solutions to influence executive decisions.

You will lead a team of five, develop Power BI dashboards, drive data quality and governance, and partner with Finance, Operations and Executives to support

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in BI, Analytics or Data Management leadership roles.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience working with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Proven people leadership experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BI function across atWork Australia leading a team of 5 direct reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
• Drive data quality, governance, and a "single source of truth" approach
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to support commercial outcomes
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis activities
• Prioritise BI initiatives and manage competing business requirements
• Provide advanced analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Mentor and develop BI team members while fostering a customer-focused culture
• Support ongoing innovation, process improvement and data maturity across the business
