Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our BI function and drive smarter decision-making across a national organisation. • Extensive experience in Business Intelligence leadership roles.
• Strong Power BI development experience including DAX and dashboard design.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience working with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Proven people leadership experience including leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A customer‑focused mindset balancing strategic thinking and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BI function across atWork Australia, guiding a team of 5 direct reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance and a single source of truth approach.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis activities.
• Prioritise BI initiatives and manage competing business requirements.
• Provide advanced analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and develop BI team members while fostering a customer-focused culture.
• Support ongoing innovation, process improvement and data maturity across the business.
