Job summary

ServiceRocket in Australia is seeking an experienced ITSM Atlassian Consultant to lead technical implementations, configurations, and deployments of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. You will work with stakeholders to design solutions that meet business needs and ensure quality.

You’ll collaborate with Project Managers and Solution Architects, mentor teams, and deliver training, documentation, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience delivering Atlassian solutions (Jira, Confluence, JSM) and managing deployments.
• Strong ability to translate customer requirements into effective Atlassian solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with workshop facilitation and written/verbal proficiency.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Unix command line, SQL, scripting, and configuration tasks.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell).
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles.
• Experience in UAT testing and test case development.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical implementation, configuration, customization, and deployment of solutions.
• Provide specialized knowledge and guidance as a Subject Matter Expert on Atlassian products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that meet defined business needs and technical requirements.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver training, documentation, and best practices to customer teams to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Work with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and customer teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet specifications, standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Perform other technical duties to support project objectives and overall success.
