Job summary

Sea Sea in Crescent Head is seeking a warm, organised Receptionist to be the first friendly face guests meet. Casual or part-time, with hours to suit, the role spans front desk tasks and cross-department support in a small team by the beach.

You'll welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, handle enquiries, bookings and payments, share local knowledge, and help maintain a welcoming lobby and public spaces.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reception, hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not essential - attitude matters most
• Well organised, calm under pressure and comfortable multitasking
• Confident with computers; experience with booking/PMS systems (e.g. Cloudbeds) is a bonus
• Available across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia

Sea Sea is a 25-room boutique hotel in Crescent Head, blending the laid-back spirit of 70's Australian surf culture with a progressive, modern outlook. Alongside our rooms, we run a restaurant, bar and surf club - good food, cold drinks and easy days by the beach, all under one roof.

We're looking for a warm, organised Receptionist to be the first friendly face our guests meet - casual or part-time, with hours to suit. We're a small team, so everyone pitches in across departments to keep Sea Sea running at its best - this role is no exception.

THE ROLE

As our Receptionist, you'll be the heart of our front desk, helping to make every guest's stay feel effortless. Day to day, you'll:

Welcome guests and manage check-in / check-out

Handle phone, email and walk-in enquiries and reservations

Process payments and keep guest accounts accurate

Take restaurant, bar and surf club bookings

Share local knowledge - best surf spots, beaches, cafes and things to do

Be the go-to for guest requests and feedback, following up until they're sorted

Help keep the lobby and public spaces looking their best

Because we're a small team, you'll also lend a hand where it's needed most - whether that's:

Helping housekeeping with room turnovers or linen during busy periods

Supporting the restaurant, bar or poolside with light F&B service

Pitching in with event or group booking set-up

Generally keeping an eye out and jumping in wherever Sea Sea needs it

ABOUT YOU

A genuine people-person with a warm, welcoming manner
