Job summary

Sea Sea in Crescent Head is seeking a warm, organised Receptionist to be the first friendly face guests meet. Casual or part-time, with hours to suit, the role spans front desk tasks and cross-department support in a small team by the beach.

You'll welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, handle enquiries, bookings and payments, share local knowledge, and help maintain a welcoming lobby and public spaces.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reception, hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not essential - attitude matters most
• Well organised, calm under pressure and comfortable multitasking
• Confident with computers; experience with booking/PMS systems (e.g. Cloudbeds) is a bonus
• Available across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check-in / check-out
• Handle phone, email and walk-in enquiries and reservations
• Process payments and keep guest accounts accurate
• Take restaurant, bar and surf club bookings
• Share local knowledge - best surf spots, beaches, cafes and things to do
• Be the go-to for guest requests and feedback, following up until they're sorted
• Help keep the lobby and public spaces looking their best
• Lend a hand across departments when needed (housekeeping, restaurant, bar, pool)
• Support event or group booking set-up
