Job summary

The Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove, QLD, is seeking a Front Office Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team. You will welcome guests, handle check-in/out, and help create personalised, memorable experiences in a boutique luxury setting.

Experience in luxury hospitality, excellent communication, and a can-do attitude are essential. Opera PMS experience is preferred; flexibility for weekends and public holidays is required. Unlimited work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with prompt, personalised service and efficient check-in/check-out.

• Promote and upsell hotel facilities.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Housekeeping for guest movements and activities.
• Meet and exceed guest expectations and handle complaints efficiently.
• Night auditing (not overnight).
• Provide personalised service to each guest.

The Reef House Adults Retreat in stunning Palm Cove is seeking a Front Office Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team. We are renowned for our personalised service in a truly relaxed setting offering tranquillity, ambience and boutique luxury.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, personalised service and efficient check in and check out throughout their stay
• Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge.
• Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
• Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities
• Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities.
• Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and handling customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner.
• Night Auditing (not overnight)
• Providing personalised service to each and every guest.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a natural ability to 'surprise' guests with your authentic customer service, setting you apart from the rest. As well as:

• Experience in a luxury environment
• Demonstrate ability in delivering guest centric experiences
• A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people from all over the world
• Professional manner
• Previous experience with a PMS. Opera desirable however not essential
• You will have exceptional communication skills and customer service flair.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidays
• Unlimited work rights in Australia
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
