Sea Sea Hotel is Crescent Head’s only boutique luxury hotel, known for its elevated guest service, premium dining, and relaxed coastal atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate and professional Front of House team members to join our restaurant and bar. Roles include Hosts, Waitstaff, and Food Runners, with casual positions available immediately and potential to transition into permanent roles for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Warmly welcome and farewell all guests.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional first impression.
• Manage guest arrivals and ensure guests are seated efficiently.
• Understand guest preferences, special occasions and booking requirements.
• Assist guests with general questions about the restaurant, hotel and local area.
• Manage guest expectations during busy periods and communicate wait times clearly.
• Handle guest feedback and elevate issues to the appropriate manager when required.

Reservations & Seating

• Manage daily restaurant reservations and walk-ins.
• Monitor the reservation system and maintain accurate booking information.
• Coordinate table allocations and seating plans.
• Manage special requests, dietary requirements and celebrations.
• Communicate changes, cancellations and large bookings with the restaurant team.
• Monitor table flow and assist with efficient table turnover.
• Ensure reservations are accurately recorded and communicated during service.

Service Support

• Work closely with waitstaff, bar and kitchen teams to maintain smooth service.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables when required.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming host area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Support events, functions and larger group bookings.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Sea Sea's restaurant, bar, accommodation and facilities.
• Be able to confidently answer basic guest questions and make recommendations.
• Understand current menus, promotions, events and operating hours.
• Promote other Sea Sea experiences where appropriate.
