Job summary

Tagai State College is seeking a motivated School Technical Officer to join our school community. You will help manage the ICT network service to contribute to the enhancement of student learning opportunities across our dispersed campuses.

Responsibilities include maintaining ICT systems, providing timely technical support to staff and students, training staff in ICT tools for teaching and learning, and keeping accurate ICT records.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ICT networks and school IT infrastructure.
• Ability to provide staff and student technical support.
• Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain school ICT systems, equipment and infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving ICT issues efficiently.
• Train and assist staff in using ICT tools effectively for teaching and learning.
• Perform routine maintenance and maintain accurate ICT records.
• Communicate with stakeholders and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, computers, printers and remote support.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
