Job summary

Tagai State College is seeking a School Technical Officer to support the ICT network across its 17 campuses. You will manage ICT systems and infrastructure and provide timely technical assistance to staff and students to enhance teaching and learning.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, asset records, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues while applying knowledge of servers, networks, printers, and remote support. A customer-service mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain school ICT systems, equipment and infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving ICT issues efficiently.
• Train and assist staff in using ICT tools effectively for teaching and learning.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs and maintain accurate ICT records.
• Communicate with stakeholders and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Apply strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, computers, printers and remote support.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
