Job summary

Procal Dairies in Victoria is seeking an energetic Sales Representative with coffee industry experience to grow our business across the region. You will build partnerships with coffee roasters, cafés and hospitality customers, and drive revenue through proactive outreach and relationship management.

This role offers a competitive base salary, car allowance and bonus opportunities, plus training and a collaborative team environment within a growing dairy business.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in coffee, dairy, food or FMCG.
• Experience in the coffee industry with roasters/manufacturers is preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow sales across Victoria, focusing on coffee roasters, manufacturers, cafés and hospitality customers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with coffee roasters and key industry stakeholders.
• Identify, prospect and secure new customers through networking, outbound calls, emails, visits and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow sales across Victoria, with a strong focus on coffee roasters, coffee manufacturers, cafés and hospitality customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with coffee roasters and key industry stakeholders
• Identify, prospect and secure new customers through networking, outbound calls, emails, customer visits and industry events
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline, consistently following up leads and converting opportunities into sales
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and drive revenue growth across existing and new accounts
• Work closely with Procal's distribution partners to develop sales opportunities and grow market share across their respective territories
• Maintain accurate customer databases, sales activity records and pipeline information through the company CRM
• Manage customer enquiries, resolve issues promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Represent Procal Dairies at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings and networking opportunities

About you

• Proven sales experience, ideally in coffee, dairy, food or FMCG
• Proven experience working in the coffee industry, particularly with coffee roasters and coffee manufacturers
• Understanding of the HORECA channel (hotels, restaurants and cafés)
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven
• Confident using CRM systems and managing customer accounts
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel throughout Victoria
