Job summary

Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney is seeking a proactive Sales Manager to lead development of a portfolio of key accounts across corporate travel, leisure inbound and group segments. You will drive new business through proactive networking and collaborate with Marketing, Revenue and Operations to deliver strong commercial results.

The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and close collaboration within a supportive team, backed by Hyatt's global network and systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in hotel sales, business development or account management.
• Proven success in corporate travel, entertainment, groups or convention markets.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business through outbound sales activity and proactive networking.
• Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and retention.
• Collaborate on sales strategy and support the execution of tactical promotions.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, client events and sales missions.
• Work with Revenue and Marketing to optimise performance and demand generation.
• Partner with Operations, Food & Beverage to identify opportunities and enhance guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records in Hyatt's CRM system and provide meaningful sales reporting.
