Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is seeking a Reservation Agent to manage guest reservations across all channels, reporting to the Guest Relations Executive. The role offers an inclusive environment within a dynamic team and opportunities to develop a hospitality career either in Australia or overseas.

You will handle bookings, monitor room inventory, upsell on every call, and apply revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction. Training and development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable.
• Knowledge of Opera/Fidelio is desirable.

• Receive, capture and process requests for room reservations that arrive through all channels available to the hotel and corresponding to all business segments.
• Monitoring inventory of rooms.

About The Role

In the role of Reservation Agent you will be responsible for updating and managing the guest's reservation. Reporting to the Guest Relations Executive, you will be enjoying an inclusive working environment within a dynamic team that extends beyond the realms of Front Office.

• Receive, capture and process requests for room reservations that arrive through all channels available to the hotel and corresponding to all business segments
• Monitoring inventory of rooms
• Ensure active Upselling in every sales call
• Apply established Revenue Management strategies and tactics

Qualifications
