World Gym Australia is seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead membership growth and sales performance at World Gym Marconi. You’ll coach a high-performing team, drive lead generation, and deliver an exceptional member experience from first contact through journey.

You’ll thrive on performance, relationships, and community, with accountability for targets, CRM management, and collaboration with club leadership to lift culture and results.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you’ll lead the club’s membership growth while building a high-performing, energetic, and community-focused sales culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on performance, relationships, and creating an exceptional member experience from the very first interaction. You’ll lead from the front – driving sales, mentoring your team, building local connections, and helping members take the first step toward their goals.

You’ll be responsible for creating momentum inside and outside the club through lead generation, community engagement, referrals, tours, follow-up, retention, and delivering a sales experience that feels personal, genuine, and results-driven.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on membership growth, retention, and member experience
• Drive lead generation through outbound prospecting, referrals, guest passes, community outreach, local partnerships, and club activations
• Build strong relationships with prospects, members, and local businesses to grow brand awareness and community presence
• Manage the full sales journey from enquiry and consultation through to tours, onboarding, follow-up, and retention
• Deliver personalised club tours and consultations that uncover member goals and showcase the World Gym experience
• Train and mentor team members in sales systems, objection handling, follow-up strategies, and conversion techniques
• Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, CRM workflows, reporting, and overall sales performance
• Support retention initiatives and conduct member save conversations with a solution-focused approach
• Utilise social media, digital engagement, and local marketing initiatives to generate leads and drive club exposure
• Work collaboratively with club leadership to drive culture, operational standards, and overall club performance
• Ensure members feel welcomed, supported, and connected throughout every stage of their fitness journey
• Bring energy, urgency, and leadership to the club floor while creating a positive and motivating team environment

What You’ll Bring

• Previous sales leadership or membership sales experience in a fast-paced environment, with fitness industry experience highly regarded
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while driving lead generation, conversion, retention, and team accountability
• Confidence across the full sales cycle including prospecting, presenting, objection handling, closing, and member retention
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing culture
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with confidence connecting with people from all walks of life
• Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret performance data, reporting, and KPIs to adjust strategy and improve results
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence using CRM systems, reporting tools, sales processes, and social media platforms
• A proactive, resilient, energetic, and solutions-focused mindset
• Professional presentation and a genuine passion for health, fitness, community, and delivering exceptional member experiences
