Job summary

World Gym Tuggerah is seeking a driven Club Manager to lead overall club performance, culture, and operations, including sales, member experience, personal training, group fitness, reception and retail.

You will build a high-performing team, manage budgets and KPIs, ensure a safe, welcoming environment, and drive revenue growth while maintaining high standards and community focus.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within fitness, retail, hospitality, or service industries.
• Strong track record leading teams to measurable performance outcomes.
• Confident managing accountability and difficult conversations.
• Financially literate with experience managing budgets, KPIs, or reporting.
• Highly organised, resilient, and process-driven.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Passionate about people, culture, and creating strong team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and hold the team accountable to performance standards, KPIs, and club expectations.
• Drive a strong team culture built on professionalism, ownership, and results.
• Coach team members toward growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee day-to-day club operations, systems, compliance, and presentation standards.
• Monitor club performance including revenue, labour, expenses, and profitability.
• Review reporting, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that drive results.
• Support strong sales performance, lead conversion, and member retention strategies.
• Resolve escalated member concerns professionally and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and high-energy club environment.
• Lead from the front and create an environment where members and staff thrive.

The Role
