Job summary

World Gym Maroochydore is seeking a hands-on Retail Manager to lead our Pro Shop and Barbell Café, drive sales, manage stock, and coach a small team. This frontline role is pivotal to delivering an exceptional member experience in our new club.

You will oversee merchandising, promotions, social media activity, KPI tracking, and ensure a welcoming, well-presented retail environment as we grow.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Confidence with social media and content creation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A flexible approach to roster requirements.
• A current driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and hiring of staff.
• Leading and driving retail sales in the Pro Shop and Barbell Café.
• Managing inventory, stock levels, and ordering systems.
• Visual merchandising and maintaining an appealing retail layout.
• Training and supervising retail staff.
• Creating and maintaining supplement and product knowledge.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and sales targets.
• Making quality protein shakes to recipe.
• Upselling and cross-promoting gym services and products.
• Ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

We’re looking for a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our retail operations and deliver an exceptional member experience at World Gym Maroochydore.

The Role:

You will contribute to the success ofWorld Gym Maroochydore.This is a very hands-on role and will see you leading from the front in all areas of retail customer service.

The role will oversee the day-to-day operation of our Pro Shop, including retail sales, stock management, administration, staff leadership, promotions, social media activity, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience. Fitness industry experience is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the department and contribute to its continued growth.
