Job summary

Endeavour Foundation in Cairns or Cannon Hill is seeking a Rostering Officer to coordinate staff rosters for disability residents, respond quickly to changes, and schedule support workers for 24/7 coverage.

You’ll work with front-line teams, handle enquiries by phone and email, and ensure rosters align with NDIS plans. Hybrid work is available: 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Salary packaging and entertainment expense benefits are also offered, along with an EAP and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering or scheduling is essential.
• Customer service experience, preferably in disability or community services.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to obtain checks: Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening, National Criminal History Check, and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily rostering and scheduling, including last-minute changes and unplanned absences
• Responding to enquiries via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels
• Ensuring rosters align with customer NDIS plans and funding requirements
• Collaborating with your team to deliver seamless, customer-focused outcomes
• Helping create flexible, efficient staffing solutions that support both employees and customers
