Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a proactive HR Rostering specialist to create and manage rosters that ensure optimal coverage and seamless operations. You will advise managers on rostering and workforce systems while staying compliant with awards and HR policies.

The role requires experience with rostering or payroll in a large system, strong prioritisation, and the ability to learn Queensland Health systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workbrain and/or myHR is desirable.
• Understanding rostering or payroll in a large environment.
• Ability to solve complex rostering issues and learn Queensland Health systems.
• Strong prioritisation and staying calm under pressure.
• Clear and confident communication with managers.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and coordinate rosters to ensure the right coverage.
• Manage time and attendance, unplanned leave, vacant shifts and redeployments.
• Provide advice on rostering and workforce systems.
• Review reports, maintain records, and stay up to date with awards and HR policies.
