Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a skilled Roster Scheduler for our Nowra residential aged care service. Working with the Service Manager, you will own rostering, payroll support and workforce administration to keep teams staffed for excellent care.

You will develop accurate rosters, analyse workforce data, and provide timely reports on rostering metrics. A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent rostering experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically, this role requires a Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent rostering experience.
• Must have prior rostering experience within a similar industry or with transferrable skills.
• Experience supporting payroll and workforce reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day rostering for staff. Including updates, changes and compliance
• Prepare and maintain roster reports and support payroll processes
• Collaborate with the Workforce Coordinator to ensure rosters are current and accessible
• Respond to internal and external enquiries, including staff and residents’ families
• Organise meetings, training sessions and take minutes as required
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure confidentiality, privacy and compliance with Uniting policies and legislation
• Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
