Catholic Healthcare Limited in Sydney is seeking a highly motivated Roster Officer to join our busy Home & Community Services scheduling team in Surry Hills. The role focuses on coordinating daily rosters, managing leave, and matching clients with capable care workers to ensure continuous service.

You will optimise rosters for productivity, maintain accurate scheduling data, and communicate changes clearly with clients and staff, while adhering to Enterprise Agreement obligations and safety

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating rosters and scheduling in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with PC-based applications (Word, Excel, Email).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily rosters by prioritising services and operational requirements.
• Manage planned and unplanned leave, training and meetings within rosters.
• Match clients and services with skilled care workers while meeting service alerts and Enterprise Agreement obligations.
• Optimise rosters to improve productivity and reduce travel time.
• Maintain accurate scheduling data and working hours in line with business rules.
• Communicate changes clearly with clients and staff and document interactions.
