Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to plan and organise care services, working closely with the supply and demand team to improve rostering processes using data and systems. The role supports timely, high-quality in-home care and acts as the first point of contact for scheduling changes.

The position is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement at Bankstown/Campbelltown offices, offering flexible options and opportunities to impact customers’ independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling or rostering is ideal but not essential; background in call centres or customer support is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and empathy for customers and colleagues.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage care worker rosters, including intraday changes and leave requests.
• Ensure rostering guidelines, training, and funding compliance are followed.
• Coordinate third-party service bookings and supplier engagement.
• Serve as first point of contact for customer scheduling enquiries with timely support.
• Use systems to maintain accurate data and support payroll accuracy.
• Provide workforce insights to leaders and assist with recruitment alignment.
• Deliver occasional after-hours support when rostered.
• Promote safety, quality and compliance in all activities.
