Job summary

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is seeking a part-time Merchandiser for the PORTLAND area in Australia. You will manage an allocated territory, ensuring quality displays, executing planograms and supporting new product launches.

The role requires you to work 5–8 hours weekly, with Tuesdays to Thursdays being essential, and you must have a valid Australian driver’s license and access to a vehicle. In this casual position you will build relationships with store personnel, negotiate space, and

• Experience in supermarket, retail, pharmacy or liquor is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain quality in-store displays and planograms.
• Drive strong relationships with store personnel and promotions.
• Negotiate promotional space and ensure timely execution of campaigns.
• Submit daily task updates and photos via smartphone/tablet.
• Represent Brand Influence Group and clients professionally.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting.

Job description

As a BIG Merchandiser, you will manage an allocated territory, fostering relationships with key retailers. In this ongoing casual role, you'll ensure operational excellence through precise task execution - covering everything from replenishment and ticketing to display builds, compliance audits, new product launches and more.

About The Role

Territory: PORTLAND and surrounds

Hours: Average of 5-8 hours per week based on business needs (no guaranteed minimum hrs)

Availability: Tuesdays to Thursday availability is essential

Essential: Driver license and car

Key Responsibilities

• Driving strong relationships with store personnel
• Building and maintaining quality displays in store
• Negotiating promotional space
• Executing planograms
• Submit tasks & quality photos daily via smartphone/tablet
• Represent BIG and our clients positively and professionally
• Safely performing the physical requirements, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Successful candidate will need

• Supermarket, retail, pharmacy or liquor experience is highly desirable
• A current Australian driver's licence and vehicle
• Strong & friendly communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
• An ability to work autonomously
• Ability to perform the physical & repetitive requirements of the role
