Job summary

Australia Post is hiring a Retail Customer Service Officer in Naracoorte, SA. You will assist customers with sales, mail and parcel services, and handle transactions including cash, cheques, and EFTPOS within a friendly team.

Working 25 hours per week on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday across Naracoorte, Mount Gambier and Millicent, you’ll receive paid training, opportunities for development, and access to Post Perks discounts. A supportive community role awaits you.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Ability to assist customers with mail and parcel services.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions.
• Manage high value transactions (cash, cheques, credit cards, EFTPOS).
• Conduct identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
• Promote products and services through upselling and cross-selling.
• Assist with mail and parcels lodgements and costs.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs.
• Assist with stock and admin duties.
