Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a part-time Retail Customer Service Officer for 25 hours per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract located at Adelaide Rundle Mall Post Office. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, handling cash and various payments, and promoting postal products and services to customers and businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Able to lift up to 16 kg of mail/parcels and stand for your shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions.
• Manage high value cash, card, and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
• Handle identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
• Promote products and services through upselling and promotions.
• Assist with mail and parcels lodgement and associated costs.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs.
