Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Retail Customer Service Officer (Relief) in Moruya to support daily customer service at our local Post Office. You will handle sales, cash and payments, and assist with mail lodgements, while delivering friendly, helpful service to the community.

The role is permanent part-time, 20 hours per week, with paid training and opportunities for development. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm, in a supportive team environment at Australia Post.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality.
• Be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions with customers.
• Manage high value transactions accurately (cash, cheques, credit cards, EFTPOS).
• Conduct identity services transactions including Passport interviews.
• Promote products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.
