Job summary

Greenmount Surf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Full time Function's Coordinator/ Front of House Manager to join our Restaurant and Function team. This role is based at Greenmount Beach and offers a dynamic, high-energy environment on the Gold Coast.

The successful candidate will lead a busy FOH and function team, manage shift patterns, and drive outstanding guest experiences. RSA and RSG certifications, strong communication, and a flexible approach to weekends and public

Greenmount Surf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Full time Function's Coordinator/ Front of House Manager to join our vibrant and hardworking Restaurant and Function team.

Nestled at the base of stunning Greenmount Beach, we are proud of our exceptional customer service and our friendly, high-energy atmosphere.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in leading a team, and is available for split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Schedule: 30-38 hours - flexible days and hours to suit business and life. Management salary after probational period for right person!

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to and working closely with Operations Manager and Chefs
• Supervise work with and support FOH staff to maintain high service standards
• Assist with training and mentoring staff to ensure ongoing development
• Ensure consistent product and service quality
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant and function space
• Proactively assist and support team members during busy periods
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests
• Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively
• Delegate daily tasks & rostering for Front of House & Function team members
• Set up and delivery of functions and events, end to end.
• Promoting, creating and executing relationships with new & existing function guests.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required
• Availability for split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to work closely with both FOH and BOH teams
• RSA and RSG certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid work rights in Australia (no sponsorships available)
