Manly Harbour Boat Club is seeking a full-time Function Supervisor / Coordinator at Manly Harbour, overseeing functions, coordinating setup and execution, and maintaining high service standards. Qualifications

• One year's experience in a similar role.
• Experience with IVvy or other event management software.
• Excellent writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised, efficient and detail oriented.
• Available to work weekends, public holidays, and some late evenings.
• Able to work in high-volume, fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of functions to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Record function details and invoicing using IVvy.
• Assist with setup, running and pack down of events.
• Support other areas of the business, including restaurant, bar and kitchen.
• Understand SOPs for function supervisors, bartending and wait staff.
• Communicate and present professionally inside and outside the organisation.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere in the function areas by upholding standards.

Manly Harbour Boat Club recently renovated requires experienced and inspirationalFunction Supervisor / Coordinator

Based at Manly Harbour, overlooking Moreton Bay. Manly Harbour Boat Club is a multi-outlet Hospitality Venue with a 300 seat Bistro, Rooftop Tapas Bar, Functions and Events area which.

We are seeking a full-time Function Supervisor / Coordinator to assist with the supervision of functions booked with the club. This is a hands on role and requires flexibility to work late evenings and weekends, you will provide excellent customer service and organisational skills to function client and assist in building our function team. You will report to the Functions & Events Manager.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supervisor daily operations of functions to ensure smooth, efficient service
• Use systems such as: iVvy to record all function information as well as invoicing needs.
• Assist and manage with set-up, running and pack down of events.
• Support other areas of the business when needed; including but not limited to the restaurant, bar, and kitchen.
• Understand all relevant standard operating procedures for function supervisors, bartending and wait staff.
• Communicate and present professionally inside and outside the organisation.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere in the function areas by ensuring standards are upheld.

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

• One year's experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge in how to use event cloud software IVvy is desirable.
• Possess excellent writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
• Must be extremely organised, efficient and detail oriented.
