Job summary

Joey's Kangaroo Point is seeking a Restaurant Reservations Manager to lead the reservations operation and deliver a memorable guest experience. This hands-on, in-store role works closely with restaurant management and front-of-house teams to be the main point of contact for bookings and guest enquiries.

You'll coordinate with the floor, manage large bookings and VIPs, and help optimise seating while maintaining exceptional service, even during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience in restaurant reservations, front-of-house or hospitality management.
• Is highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is calm and professional under pressure.
• Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
• Is confident using reservation systems and technology.
• Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail.

• Is flexible and available to work weekends – this is essential.
• Is happy to be hands‑on and involved in the restaurant rather than working from behind a desk.
