The Original PC Doctor is hiring remote Windows desktop support technicians to help customers across Australia from your home. You’ll diagnose and fix Windows 10/11 issues over secure remote sessions, with hands-off visits coordinated for hardware problems when needed.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Windows 10/11 troubleshooting knowledge.
Confidence driving remote-access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Quick Assist or similar).
Solid grasp of Windows Update, drivers, user profiles, the registry and common apps.
Excellent phone manner and clear written communication.
Patience and real empathy — many of our customers aren’t tech-savvy.
A reliable home internet connection and a quiet space to take calls.
Previous desktop support, helpdesk or PC repair experience is a plus (attitude matters most).

Responsibilities

Take customer calls and remote support requests with a calm, helpful manner.
Run secure remote‑desktop sessions to diagnose and fix Windows issues live.
Resolve slow performance, boot problems, Windows Update failures and driver conflicts.
Remove malware, clean startup bloat and tune Windows for speed.
Set up email, printers, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 and everyday apps.
Log jobs accurately in our web‑based platform and follow up so the customer is genuinely sorted.
