Job summary

The Original PC Doctor in Australia is seeking remote printer support technicians to help customers get printing back online — all from home, over the phone and through remote sessions. You’ll diagnose driver issues, set up Wi‑Fi and network printers, and guide customers through fixes on Windows and macOS, while staying patient as printers test everyone’s nerves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on printer setup and troubleshooting on Windows and macOS.
• Familiar with print drivers, spoolers, and Wi‑Fi/network printing.
• Experience in IT support or helpdesk is a plus (attitude matters most).

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and support requests calmly and helpfully.
• Diagnose 'printer offline', driver and connection issues on Windows and Mac.
• Install and repair print drivers and clear stuck print spoolers.
• Set up Wi‑Fi, USB and network printers, and scan-to-email/scan-to-folder workflows.
• Troubleshoot major printer brands (HP, Canon, Epson, Brother) across home/small-office setups.
• Log jobs accurately in the web-based platform and follow up until resolved.
