Job summary

Malabar Resources Limited is seeking a mid-level Structural Engineer with precast concrete expertise to join a fully remote team. You will design, analyze, and document precast products, contribute to new product development, and mentor junior engineers from a home office.

You will perform advanced calculations, coordinate with manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work for global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4-6 years' structural engineering experience with precast concrete.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of concrete design principles and codes.
• Experience with FEA software and BIM concepts.
• Ability to manage smaller projects independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative precast concrete products.
• Create and review detailed structural drawings and 'Issued For Manufacture' docs.
• Contribute to New Product Development from concept to implementation.
• Perform advanced structural calculations for complex precast elements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize design efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive process improvements and establish best practices.
