Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer with expertise in precast concrete to join a fully remote team serving global clients. The role focuses on designing precast products, producing detailed drawings, and contributing to NPD from concept to implementation.

You will perform advanced analyses and collaborate with manufacturing to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience, proficiency in SolidWorks,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
4–6 years of proven experience in structural engineering with focus on precast concrete.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
Knowledge of concrete design principles and industry standards.
Experience with finite element analysis software and BIM concepts.
Ability to manage smaller projects independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and experienced in remote work environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop innovative precast concrete products.
Create and review detailed structural drawings and 'Issued For Manufacture' documentation.
Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) from concept to implementation.
Conduct advanced structural calculations and analysis for complex precast elements.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize design efficiency.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Drive process improvement initiatives and development of best practices.
