Job summary

Lifeline Australia is seeking an In-Shift Support – Digital – Remote supervisor to back our Crisis Supporters across the Lifeline network. You will monitor shifts, provide real time guidance, and help ensure service quality while supporting Help Seekers with empathetic digital assistance.

Key duties include on-the-spot coaching, debriefs after high-risk calls, and coordinating responses during 24/7 rosters. A background in crisis support and remote service delivery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 hours as Lifeline Digital Services Crisis Supporter.
• Understanding of reflective practice and debrief techniques.
• Willing to complete LLA training including coaching/ISS.
• Education in youth work, social work, counselling or allied health (2 years post accreditation desirable).
• Ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• Background in remote delivery of allied health services (desirable).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, online meeting tools (MS Teams) and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide real time practice support to CS across Lifeline network.
• Conduct initial debriefing for CS after difficult interactions.
• Complete emergency interventions and mandatory reporting.
• Proactively use instant messaging to support on-duty CS.
