Job summary

Lifeline Australia is seeking an In-Shift Support – Digital – Remote to join our Lifeline Digital Services team in a shift‑based role. You will supervise and coordinate crisis support staff across shifts, ensuring real-time support, quality, and timely responses across the Lifeline network.

The role requires a 24/7 roster, strong crisis support experience, and the ability to work independently in a remote home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 hours as Lifeline Digital Services Crisis Supporter.
• Understands reflective practice and debrief techniques.
• Willing to complete LLA coaching/ISS training and related education.
• Education in youth work, social work, counselling, psychology or allied health (2 years post accreditation desirable).
• Ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• Background in remote service delivery of allied health (desirable).
• Proficient with MS Office and online meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time practice support to CSs across Lifeline network.
• Provide initial debriefing after difficult/ high-risk interactions.
• Complete emergency interventions and mandatory reporting.
• Use instant messaging to support CS on duty.
