Job summary

RecordPoint is seeking an experienced HR & IR Consultant to deliver practical, compliant HR and industrial relations advice to a diverse client base across Australia. The role is remote and client-facing, with a focus on award coverage, classification, and interpretation, and requires strong SCHADS experience.

You will advise on performance management, disputes, and employment contracts, acting as an embedded HR Manager for key clients and helping develop compliant HR policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ HR experience, ideally in consultancy or across multiple industries.
• Demonstrated confidence in IR matters, particularly Award interpretation, misconduct, and compliance.
• Strong SCHADS Award experience (essential).
• Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, confident HR and IR advice across a broad range of matters.
• Advise on performance management, absenteeism, misconduct, and termination processes
• Support clients with employee disputes, redundancies, and consultation obligations
• Draft and tailor employment contracts to suit industry, role, and compliance requirements
• Act as an embedded HR Manager for key clients, managing day-to-day HR queries and processes
• Review and develop HR policies and procedures aligned with legislation and best practice
• Conduct end-to-end recruitment where required (not core focus)
