Job summary

Inspiring Lives Today seeks an experienced HR & IR Consultant to advise clients across Australia on award coverage, performance management, and industrial relations compliance. This is a flexible, remote, part-time contractor role with 25–30 hours per week across a 4–5 day pattern, offering autonomy and ongoing mentorship.

The role focuses on SCHADS and Fair Work Act interpretation, drafting contracts, and embedded HR support for diverse clients in a consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ HR experience, ideally in consultancy or across multiple industries.
• Demonstrated confidence in IR matters, particularly Award interpretation, misconduct, and compliance.
• Strong SCHADS Award experience (essential).
• Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence advising clients on complex matters.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, confident HR and IR advice across a broad range of matters for a diverse client base.
• Advise on Award coverage, classification, and interpretation across multiple industries.
• Drafting and tailoring employment contracts to suit industry, role, and compliance requirements.
• Act as embedded HR Manager for key clients, managing day-to-day HR queries and processes.
• Review and develop HR policies and procedures aligned with legislation and best practice.
