Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking an HR, IR and document control support officer to join our remote-first team across Australia. You will provide essential HR, Fair Work and IR guidance, draft contracts, manage onboarding and maintain records and document control systems.

You’ll lead policies updates, support probation and performance reviews, coordinate inductions, and help promote staff wellbeing. This role suits a detail‑oriented communicator who thrives in a fast moving tech environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience in document control, records management or compliance administration.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and NDIS Orientation Module.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Collaborative and professional attitude with a focus on employee support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate advice on HR, Fair Work and IR matters.
• Draft employment contracts and manage onboarding documentation.
• Maintain accurate employment records and HR systems.
• Manage organisational document control systems and versioning.
• Coordinate timely updates and renewals of policies and documents.
• Lead the Employee Rewards & Recognition programme.
• Coordinate inductions for new staff across locations.
• Support probation and performance reviews and staff wellbeing.
