Job summary

YES Medical is expanding its Business Development team and seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives. The role focuses on prospecting, client onboarding, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver tailored proposals and strategic partnerships across Australia and beyond.

You will engage with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, manage leads, and report progress to senior leadership while traveling as needed to drive opportunities in the CRO space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
• At least 4 years in business development or sales within a CRO.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research processes and regulatory guidelines.
• Extensive network in pharma/biotech and ability to convert leads into partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborations with pharma/biotech companies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations and marketing to align proposals with client needs.
• Attend conferences/events across Oceania, APAC, and North America to generate client leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to promote services.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
