Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a global leader in sustainable packaging to recruit a commercially minded Account Manager/Technical Support specialist. The role covers field service, training and CRM management across customer and distributor sites.

You will build strong relationships, perform site visits, support product trials and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts while travelling to customer locations. Flexible remote/home office is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, customer service, technical support or business development in industrial/manufacturing/packaging sectors.
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical equipment issues.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with confidence engaging customers, distributors and stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated and organized, with ability to manage a territory, prioritise site visits and work autonomously.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to growing existing customer accounts.
• Holds a valid driver's licence and is comfortable travelling regularly to customer and distributor sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and servicing of packaging equipment across customer and distributor sites.
• Develop strong relationships with distributors and end users, delivering product training and ongoing support.
• Conduct site visits, installations and product trials to ensure customers maximise the value of their packaging systems.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase product adoption within the customer base.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor equipment performance and manage spare parts availability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customised packaging projects and achieve business growth objectives.
