Job summary

Outlook Australia is seeking an After Hours Rostering Officer to maintain service continuity from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. This remote, on-call role requires you to respond to urgent staff sickness, participant cancellations and roster gaps, updating rosters through AlayaCare and recording actions in the afterhours spreadsheet.

You will check voicemail each morning, perform roster changes, and prepare the Monday handover for NSW and VIC offices.

Qualifications

Practical rostering or scheduling experience in home care, disability, aged care or community services.
Excellent problem solving and judgement, with the ability to interpret information and make timely decisions while working remotely after hours.
Clear, calm and professional communication for urgent roster updates and handovers.
Digital literacy to access schedules, complete required forms and training, and maintain accurate case notes.
Ability to use rostering and client management systems, spreadsheets, email and Teams; AlayaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to urgent staff sickness and participant cancellations.
Update roster by contacting staff and clients using AlayaCare to source information and record roster changes.
Check voicemail at 6:00 am and perform roster changes.
Apply SCHADS rostering requirements and escalate urgent risks.
Maintain accurate records and complete the Monday handover.
